Sebelius CANNOT be the VP

I'm a PUMA. My organization was founded on the principles of feminism.

We say that Kathleen Sebelius CANNOT be the VP! She is not a woman at all. We the POWERFUL PUMAS have dubbed her not woman enough. She did not support nepoti-...I mean feminist hero Hillary Clinton in the primary so she IS NOT A WOMAN. She is some sort of a mix between woman and not woman.

It would be a HUGE setback for bitter Hillar-....women if Sebelius were nominated! Our society would be openly admitting that a multi-term female governor should be considered for VP! Of they should not - and definitely not in a year when a bunch of really bitter morons are still whining about the primary 2 months later. A multi-term female governor IS NOT qualified for VP. Only women who have mentioned Barack Obama being assassinated as a reason for staying in a primary race should be considered for VP. Only women who spent 3 months calling Barack Obama an elitist or deriding his campaign as black boutique candidacy should be considered for VP. The qualifications for VP:

1. Married to former President (check)

  1. Stayed in primary 3 months after mathematically eliminated (check)
  2. Have dozens of bitter supporters (check)
  3. No executive experience (check)
  4. Stayed in primary 3 months after eliminated and mentioned assassination as potential reason for staying in primary (check)
  5. Attempted to create a wedge between working class whites and black nominee (check)

These are the qualifications for VP, and Kathleen Sebelius doesn't make it.

After weeks of sunny, Seattle seems to have gone back to gray.

WHICH SUCKS, cause I am taking tomorrow off to catch Steely Dan at the San Michelle Winery, then the rest of the week to stain my deck.

You forgot it. Not that it would made much of a difference.

Obama will pick whomever he thinks will help him win regardless if that is a woman or a man, and regardless if it is Hillary as the woman or somebody else.  What is important is that we democrats win the presidency and the congress.

This is diarist's m.o. It's not snark. (2.00 / 3)

Even if the diarist were to put a snark tag in their tagline, a quick review of the diarist's previous posts would demonstrate that what I just said was true.

As the V.P. search comes to a head, I'm seeing a LOT of misguided Hillary-hate resurfacing.

It's gotten pretty ugly around here today, for instance...

Re: This is diarist's m.o. It's not snark. (2.00 / 1)

Yeah, it is getting ugly, this diary is obvious in response to another troll diary about Hillary for VP or Bust, which quite frankly at this point is also nonsense -mostly because it was the length of a comment and the reverse sexism.  That should be discarded just like this one.

Lots of Hillary-haters here today! (2.00 / 3)

This diarist should be banned for serial bigotry in their posts. Is this diarist a masquerading McCain troll stirring up all this negative energy?

Well, there's a small upside to all this Hillary-hate for me, anyhow...I can just republish my comments from some of today's other diaries; think of all the time I'm saving!

So much residual Hillary hate... (2.00 / 1)

...so little time.

There's a name for people that supported Hillary that don't support Obama: PUMA. They're far fewer and due to their sheer lack of numbers, quite unworthy of the attention they receive, IMHO. But, here we now have a cadre of Hillary-haters ranting about it...given the least iota of an opening.

So much hatred from so many people here masquerading as "typical" Obama supporters, when nothing could be farther from the truth!

Your mere presence, hiding behind screennames and acting as if you represent a much larger group of damn great Democrats is a travesty and an insult to the candidate whom you claim "you support."

You're not a "typical" Obama supporter. You're the most vindictive, hate-filled, disaffecting, masquerading, divisive type of miscreant supporting our Party's nominee today.

You are far worse than those self-styled PUMAs. At least we know who those fools are.

Go look in the mirror!

"Lots of Hillary-haters here today!"

I disagree. A couple of loud-mouths who are getting the scorn they deserve.

Bayh seems to be getting more negative press then Hillary for VP, for example, since that is the subject De'Jour.

She seems to be running either 1,2 or 3 in most polls.

or Sebelius has no appeal (2.00 / 1)

to anyone anywhere. Yes she is a Democrat who is popular in Kansas, but as you may not know, ALL POLITICS IS LOCAL. Bill Weld won the governorship of Massachusetts in 1994 with 71% of the vote, a state which had gone for Republicans only twice since 1960 at that point, with that Republican being Ronald Reagan by narrow margins, but then in 1996, Bill Clinton won the state with over 60% of the vote. Bill Weld would not have gotten Dole any closer if he had been on the ticket instead of Kemp. Sebelius being popular in Kansas does not help Obama get close to carrying Kansas, but it also does not help him in Ohio, because nobody there really knows who she is, nor cares her dad was governor. Hillary is much more popular there, and in Pennsylvania, and in Florida.

Also, wow, Sebelius has "executive" experience. Experience is experience in politics, be it executive or not, elected or not, so as long as it is an active role in politics. Not only has Hillary been in the senate longer than Sebelius governor, but has been involved with politics overall for half of Sebelius' life.

Clinton having bitter supporters YES is a reason to be on the ticket. She brings them home, Sebelius would drive them away.

Hillary did not create the wedge between working class whites and black people, that wedge has existed for ages. And yes working whites are less trustworthy of blacks, and not only more trusting of whites, but trust Hillary a lot because they know her. That is why she did so well with them.

And she was not mathematically eliminated and technicaly is not until the convention, but for all practical purposes, was not until Obama clinched it, and had an absolute majority of delegates, which he didn't until June 3rd.

Sebelius brings nothing, and is boring, unknown, and has no place on the ticket. She has no machine like the Clintons, no money like the Clintons, no real supporters outside of one state unlike the Clintons. Sebelius is worthless for the veep spot.  Obama would only be putting her on the ticket because "she's a woman" and it would be obvious pandering to get her female voters, and it would be very transparent.

"She is not a woman at all."

Today well known pundit Lance Bruce exposed Kansas Democratic Governor Kathleen Sebelius as a transgender fake woman.
As proof Mr. Bruce pointed out that Hillary Clinton is the ONLY real woman elected to office.
When asked if his expose might cost Democratic nominee the transgender vote if he does not pick Sebelius as his VP... Mr. Bruce put down the 325 lbs he was bench pressing to prove his manliness and said...
"Look, only a real man like me knows a real woman.
Kevin, I mean Kathy, is no women."

This breaking news clearly removes Gov. Sebelius from any serious contention as Sen. Obama's running mate."
